Castelmola
A beautiful walk to Taormina starts at the mountain village of Castelmola uphill from Taormina. It is not very difficult and offers great panoramic views. A great way to do this is to take the bus to Castelmola and then walk back to Taormina.

Forza d’Agrò
Forza d’Agrò is a little agricultural village high up on the mountain. It offers beautiful walks with great panoramic views.

The Lipari Islands offer numerous walking tours. Walking to the brink of the crater is an impressive experience both on the islands of Vulcano and Stromboli.
